Attorney-at-Law
Attorney LaFonda Gipson
is an attorney who understands and appreciates the sacredness
of the attorney/client relationship. Attorney Gipson
is a skilled litigator and aggressive negotiator. Attorney
Gipson vigorously defends the rights of her clients
and demands that justice be served.
Attorney Gipson is the newest addition to The
Walker Law Offices. There she specializes in
personal injury/wrongful death, criminal defense, family
law, wills and estates. An experienced litigator, Attorney
Gipson has participated in over thirty jury trials.
In 1999, the Office of the Public Defender honored her
with the Trial God Award.
Attorney Gipson was born and raised in Georgia. Upon
graduating from high school, she attended Albany State
University in Albany, Georgia. There she earned her
Bachelor of Science degree and graduated magna cum laude
in 1993. In pursuit of a legal career, Attorney Gipson
was awarded and she graciously accepted the Florida
Bar Minority Scholarship Award. This award enabled her
to attend the University of Florida College of Law.
In spring of 1996, Attorney Gipson earned the Book Award
for achieving the highest grade point average among
minority students at the University. Attorney Gipson
graduated in 1996.
Attorney Gipson took and passed the Bar Examinations
in both Georgia and Florida. She continues to be licensed
and in good standing in both states.
Immediately upon graduation from Law School, Attorney
Gipson began working with the Office of the Public Defender
here in Jacksonville where she practiced in the area
of criminal defense. She remained there until she joined
the Walker Law Offices.
Attorney Gipson is member of many professional and civic
organizations including the D.W. Perkins Bar Association
where she served as Executive Secretary in 2001, the
Association of Trial Lawyers Inc. and Delta Sigma Theta
Sorority, Inc. She is also the current President of
the Jacksonville Alumni Chapter of Albany State University.
