Willie J. Walker, was admitted to
the Florida Bar, 1985, United States District Court,
Middle District of Florida 1987; The Georgia Bar, 1993.
Education: Savannah State College (B.S. 1981);
Mercer University (J.D. 1984). Former Assistant Public
Defender. Attorney Walker was awarded a legal training
fellowship with the Council on Legal Education Opportunity
(CLEO). In the fall of 1981, Mr. Walker entered the
Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.
While in law school he was the recipient of the Graduate
and Professional Opportunities scholarship and the prestigious
Earl Warren Legal Training Scholarship. As a law student,
Mr. Walker was also selected to Who’s Who In American
Colleges and Universities.
His primary area of practice is litigation, including
personal injury, product liability, medical malpractice
and nursing home abuse. During his legal career, Mr.
Walker has participated as lead or second counsel in
numerous jury trials. In addition, Mr. Walker has participated
in the trial of over one hundred twenty-five (125) non-jury
matters. He has developed keen expertise in the area
of tort litigation including complex product liability
matters, and failure analysis cases. He has practiced
extensively in both Federal and State courts. Mr. Walker
is a certified Circuit Court civil mediator and handles
a variety of complex legal disputes in this capacity.
Attorney Walker is a member of the State Bars of Florida
and Georgia and actively participates in both states.
